Run the Quay

Run the Quay has something for all ages and fitness levels. Join us for our race series on the beautiful, tree-lined streets of Historic Downtown Fuquay.
Runners of all ages, from all over the Triangle and beyond come to FV to compete on our family-friendly, certified 5k and 10k courses! Runners looking for an extra challenge can compete in our 15-Quay Challenge event, by runing in both the 5k and 10k courses, back to back. Business and community groups will be set up before, during, and after the race in our unique, family friendly, vendor village!  Last year's race hosted over 2k runners!
Plus....don’t miss the WakeMed Children’s Twinkle Dash, sponsored by AOK Training, at the 2026 Run The Quay! This star-studded run is perfect for kids ages 10 and under.  Led by the team from WakeMed Children’s and its mascot, Twinkle, this 50-yard and 100-yard run gives younger family members an opportunity to get involved with a dose of healthy fun.
