Festival of Bands

The Fesival of Bands (FOB) is a high school marching band competition and is the primary fundraiser for the Fuquay-Varina High School Marching Bengals. As you know budgets are being cut and expenses are increasing, and as such we rely on the FOB to raise the funds to offset this and allow us to continue to have a high quality marching band program. 
 
The FOB is one of the oldest and longest running high school band competitions in North Carolina. We average 15 -17 marching bands (1800-1900 participants) and 2000 spectators. This year are proud to welcome in Exhibition Performance the East Carolina University Marching Pirates. This is the first time we will be hosting a major university marching band. We anticipate this will add additional bands to the field of competition and additional spectators.
